Another Veil Taken Off

God took away another veil, and shared another special part of me,

Reminding me 'I'm His beautiful butterfly. He loves me randomly flying, 

following no apparent flight pattern, yet with perfect direction'.

 Everything we do is significant. 

Our words, our actions, even if they seem small and random are significant. 

There is always more to be unveiled in us. There is always more to be revealed through us. 

It's not a matter of learning more, as if what we do now isn't quite enough... all we do is significant. And it just keeps getting better, 

because there is always more He's unveiling each day.

Lifted Up To Open Heavens

This was painted in 2014 for one of the most special women in my life. I felt God was telling her...

"You have laid before me, and I hear you heart. You lay it all down before Me, and I say 'Yes'. Look up, because I have lifted you up. I've broken the atmosphere over you. This is open heaven and you are being raised up. The restraining wall has been shattered! Rejoice! This is Open Heavens!"

Walking Through Waterfalls

Today was one of those days when nothing seemed to flow in the right direction (we've all had them). Before I knew it, I was letting the day's events lead me, which is definitely not good. Once I 

realized I was letting these things weigh me down, I just stopped what I was doing, 

and let myself sink back where I really belong, in His loving arms.

Simply taking a few breadths with Him makes all the difference in the world. 

For me it's like walking through a waterfall, and all the day's things which are

so bothersome, seem to detach and fell to the ground in a matter of minutes.

 Some circumstances may not change, but it sure makes a difference 

if they are dragging you down, or if they are down at your feet 

where you can then walk around them.

Back to First Love

In Spring of 2014, I was invited to paint during worship at Jubilee Church in Camarillo, CA,

and God gave me something very special to paint. It's still meant to be shared:

 "I’m taking you back to first love, but not as you might think, that’s not how I work. 

Not back when you made the decision to fall in love with Me, but all the way back to birth. 

When you came out of the womb and breathed your first breath. 

Unblemished; Innocence, purity, and total dependence. 

No boundaries have been formed, and you naturally receive.

  From this place of vulnerability you are unconquerable.

 Grow and live in this first love,

 because here, in Me, you are unconquerable".

His Cooling Peace

God's presence is always here.

You'll find Him in the most unexpected places,

its just a matter of becoming conscious of Him.

It's easy (He makes a point not to hide very well from anyone).

Today on your path, open yourself up to His cooling peace.

He overflows with it, and you'll find He has it waiting for you.

Especially on what might seem to be

the hottest pavement you've walked on in quite a while.

The Sound of His Waves

With His own hand He drew your heart out, enjoying every minute of it. Like a finger in the sand at the beach, but this was before the beaches were even created... before time, He created your heart.

 He has put you in a special place where His Spirit, His life, His refreshing flows in and out over you. Where you'll always hear the sound of His waves.

Dispelling the Darkness

When I sat down to paint all I could see was 'war zone'. Grey smoke covered the canvas with the horrors of today's wars. Acts of terrorism, killings, fear and confusion. 

Then one by one, butterflies flew into the zone. More and more of them. Increasing in volume as they came in. Like a trickle of water growing into a river.

 These tiny, seemingly harmless creatures pressed into the chaos and pushed it off the canvas. 

They are our words. Our prayers, our compassion, our love.

They have the power to dispel the darkness.

God Orchestrates

For me, painting in acrylics is a totally different experience then oils. It's like treating myself to a unplanned walk in the rain and getting soaked. Everything is quick, spontaneous, and definitely joyous.  When I pick up oils, I put on gear and dive down deep where I can swim as long as I like.There I can indulge in all I see, feel, and taste, ponder with out any considerations of time, and just let myself enjoy expressing in a much more defined manner. Definitely two different styles. Both are me. Both are wonderful.

"God Orchestrates"

He has made us all perfect instruments, each different and unique… just right. He is creating a new rhythm, sending a new sound, even making new notes. Music flows in as we open up. Open to His Spirit. Open to the reality of what an incredible instrument He has made us. Open to letting Him play us. Others will hear God’s sound through you! He is sending a new song that will make you dance.

Free to Fly

No cage can hold you in, because

His light is all over you. 

You really are free to fly.
